The shelter does not provide any information about the condition of the girl, according to activists, and the first court hearing will take place in the coming days.
In the Russian Federation, they are trying to deprive the parental rights of the family of a schoolgirl who drew an anti-war picture. This is reported by Russian media.
We are talking about the girl Masha Moskaleva, who was reported back in April last year. The Commission on Juvenile Affairs filed a lawsuit about restrictions on parental rights against parents from Tula.
Human rights activists claim that on March 1, the schoolgirl was taken to an orphanage and nothing has been known about her since. The management does not provide absolutely no information about her condition.
“Ignore all questions and demand to stop writing about Masha Moskaleva. The phone that was brought to contact the girl with her dad was never handed over,” the schoolgirl’s support group said in a message.
The first hearing in this case will take place on Wednesday, March 15, at the Efremov Interdistrict Court of the Tula Region, and human rights activists continue to try to find out the true whereabouts of the teenager.
“Now our task is to force the shelter to answer about Masha’s whereabouts and why they are holding the girl against her will and without a court decision. Write appeals to the authorities, sign the petition, flood the shelter and its director with complaints,” the activists noted.

The story of Masha Moskaleva and her family: what preceded sending the girl to a shelter
In April 2022, Masha’s father Alexei Moskalev was called to school and the reason was his daughter’s drawing. There, a schoolchild drew a woman with the flag of Ukraine, which blocks the child from Russian missiles. On the same day, a police squad was also called to the school, where a report was drawn up on the man about “discrediting the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.”
At the police station, the man was tortured with the Russian anthem and threatened to take away his daughter for such an upbringing. After that, the girl did not appear at school, and the family completely left the city. In early March of this year, they were found and the man was detained.
Recall that on March 1, the State Duma announced tougher penalties for “discrediting” the RF Armed Forces. Russian parliamentarians propose to increase fines from a maximum of 300 thousand to five million rubles. According to the new amendments, in the event of criminal liability, the punishment may increase from three to 15 years in prison.
