According to NABU, People’s Deputy from the Opposition Platform for Life Dmitry Isaenko was going to get a land plot allocated for the arrangement of a recreation area at a price half that of its real value.
On Friday, March 10, detectives and prosecutors reported suspicions to the current People’s Deputy from the Opposition Platform for Life of Ukraine Dmitry Isaenko in connection with his attempt to pull off a corruption scheme to seize a land plot in Kiev with an area of 8 hectares and a value of more than 500 million hryvnias. This was announced by the director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine Semyon Krivonos.
“The essence of the scheme: the organizers of the transaction through an auction, with the participation of a company controlled by them, created the conditions for the withdrawal, contrary to the law, from state ownership of a land plot in Kiev with an area of 8 hectares and a total value of more than 500 million hryvnia,” Krivonos explained.
Suspicion was also announced to the ex-deputy head of the apparatus of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and the former director of the State Enterprise “Derzhbudkombinat” for assisting Isaenko.
According to the head of the NABU, the current development plan for the capital of Ukraine provided for the development of a park and a recreation area in the said section. However, Isaenko intended to build a residential complex on this site, taking possession of the land at a price almost half its real value.
Semyon Krivonos noted that NABU and SAP prevented the people’s deputy’s plans and seized the land. NABU also published a video recording Isaenko’s conversations with the former deputy chief of staff of the Verkhovna Rada, as well as the director of the State Prosecutor’s Office and his deputy.

What is known about Dmitry Isaenko
Dmitry Isaenko is a People’s Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of the 9th convocation from the Opposition Platform – For Life party and a member of the parliamentary faction of the same name. From 2007 to 2015, he was Deputy Minister of Regional Development.
Isaenko left the post of Deputy Minister on January 14, 2015 in connection with a corruption scandal surrounding the receipt by the People’s Deputy of the status of a participant in the ATO. The certificate gave him many privileges, in particular, to avoid the so-called “lustration” scheduled for March.

Recall that on March 6, the SBU arrested Igor Tkachuk, deputy chairman of the Odesa OVA. According to journalists, the official is suspected of corruption.
Earlier, on March 2, the press service of the prosecutor’s office also reported on the suspicion of a woman who illegally appropriated real estate in Odessa for 9 million hryvnias. The mentioned buildings with a total area of more than 13 thousand are owned by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
