President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has put into effect the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC) to impose sanctions against Russian bookmakers and lotteries. This is stated in decree No. 145/2023, which was published on the website of the President of Ukraine.
“In accordance with Article 107 of the Constitution of Ukraine, I decide: 1. Enact the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine dated March 10, 2023 “On the application and amendment of personal special economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions)”,” the statement says. indicated by Zelensky.
It is reported that the decree comes into force on the day of publication.
It should be noted that according to the addendum to the decision of the National Security and Defense Council, among the legal entities that fell under the sanctions there are the Joint Stock Company “SportBet”, the limited liability company “BetRing”, the limited liability company “Sportloto”, as well as the Parimatch Foundation, Parimatch United Investments Limited, the Company with limited liability “Parimatch” and others.
