The Russian occupiers began to accumulate ammunition in order to inflict the largest missile strike since the beginning of the war, as the expert noted. Also, enemy troops can use these missiles in another operation against Ukraine.
Military-political observer Alexander Kovalenko spoke about the objects that could become the next target of the Russian Armed Forces in Ukraine after the winter. He spoke about this on the air of the telethon.
Winter is over, which means that every day it will only get warmer and the Russians failed to completely destroy the Ukrainian energy sector. Their next goal may be water supply and hydropower facilities, because there is a hot summer ahead.
“They can also strike at some logistics facilities, as an option, railway junctions. But this is ineffective. And 2022 showed that strikes on the railway are ineffective. Therefore, most likely, they will focus on striking and disrupt the water supply system,” the expert noted.
In addition, for now, the Russians may be stockpiling ammunition in order to attempt a massive missile strike. It will be significantly more than the average since October 10 – 70 missiles to break through air defense.
The military-political observer also does not exclude the possibility of using the stockpiled missiles in some other operation. What exactly it could be – Alexander Kovalenko did not specify.
On March 3, the State Emergency Service reported that rescuers got the bodies of 2 more dead after a rocket attack on a residential building in Zaporozhye. The liquidation of the consequences of the arrival of a missile from the S-300 takes more than a day. The explosion destroyed 3 floors, and 116 employees of various services and 25 pieces of equipment were involved in search operations.
On February 22, the speaker of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Yuri Ignat, said that the Russian Armed Forces could launch missile attacks on transport infrastructure and hydraulic structures in the spring.
