For those who do not know this model, the Mercedes EQV is the electrified version of the Mercedes V-Class. Basically, it is a utility (Mercedes Vito) transformed into a passenger transport (V-Class and EQV). The EQV can accommodate up to eight people in total comfort. It has a 90 kWh battery, can be recharged in about 45 minutes on fast charging stations and has a range of 353 km in the WLTP combined cycle.
If the technical characteristics should not evolve on the Mercedes EQV which will be restyled around mid-2023, on the other hand the style of the model will undergo small modifications. Thus the front part which is well camouflaged on the prototypes which take part in development tests should be redesigned at the level of the grille, the projectors (the daytime running lights will undergo modifications), and the shield.
As for the rear part, also camouflaged, it will be the taillights that will undergo some retouching. Note that the EQV model appeared in 2020, six years after the new generation of the V-Class which was restyled in 2019. It is therefore out of step with the thermal model and if the latter should be renewed soon , EQV would have to wait two more years to do the same.
